Do you often find yourself wanting crunchy vegan snacks, but think ugh! I am so not in the mood for fruits or vegetables right now! Don’t worry, there are plenty of plant-based, animal friendly options to satisfy the crunchy, munchie goodness you desire.
The best snacks for health include whole fruits and vegetables in their most natural state, aside from a little chopping. If your goal is vegan weight loss or healing, really watch portion control, or stay away from the unhealthy snacks all together. However, if your mission is ethically based, you have an array of snacks to choose from.
This is just a small list of potential snacks you can indulge in and still stick to your goals. The options are many, so I just listed foods that I like and have enjoyed eating even before going vegan. My go-to snack seems to be tortilla chips, especially the Pico de Gallo chips by Garden of Eatin’. I make a deliciously easy vegan tortilla soup, and these chips add a flavorful crunch to the meal. It's so good I make it at least three times a month.

My determination for eating plant-based comes out of the desire to regain my health and lose weight, but depriving myself of a craving can quickly send me into a tail spin of really bad eating habits. Knowing that I can stay vegan and still enjoy a variety of snacks helps to keep me on track.
